The idea of Japanese minimalism in your home is to get rid of everything you dont need, and only keep what you do need. The house is filled with an array of designer furniture, including six unique dining chairs by iconic designers such as Hans Wegner, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, and Charles and Ray Eames. The furniture is typically low to the ground and multifunctional, like a kotatsu table, which can be used for dining, working, and relaxing. This minimalist approach ensures that the space is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. The living and dining area benefits from a double-height ceiling that allows a spacious open plan layout, as well as a loft space perched above containing a super comfortable daybed and uninterrupted glimpses of the sandy beach below.
